This elegant bar in The Grand Floridian Resort opened just a few years ago and is a wonderful addition to the deluxe resort. It was the perfect afternoon break when spending a hot day at the Magic Kingdom.
We were able to walk in at around 3 in the afternoon that day, but you may need to wait a bit if it's later in the day. At the moment they do not take reservations at the Enchanted Rose, and you do need a reservation at a resort to hop to it if you're not staying there. We made a dinner reservation for The Grand Floridian Café for that day, so we were able to walk around the lobby and enjoy a drink at this wonderful bar.
From the entrance to the gorgeous chandelier (designed to look like belle's dress) and even the most beautiful coasters, this bar certainly is impressive.
Now to the main event, these delicious cocktails that we loved so much we have even been recreating them at home!
Pictured are:
Island Rose (Left): Ketel One Grapefruit and Rose, Lime, Orgeat (Almond), Pineapple, Bitters, and Rose Water
Floral Bitter Beauty (Right): Hendrick’s Gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Campari, Aperol, Lemon, and Soda
Both of these were seriously delicious, the Island Rose reminded me of a Mai Tai with a hint of rose. The floral bitter beauty was exactly that, floral and bitter! If you're a fan of Aperol Spritz, then you will love this!
We were seated in the main bar area as they weren't opening up the lounge area at the time. However, the wonderful cast member that was serving us brought us into the lounge so that I could see the Enchanted Rose! Too kind of him!
The enchanted rose was situated on top of the mantel over the fireplace in case you're looking around for it. So beautiful! We thought that was the extent of what we were in the lounge to see, but no, we even got to see characters from the film!
Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth and Lumiere can be seen in Belle's bookshelves. It was amazing to see each one of these gorgeous pieces from the live action films in person. Simply stunning!
Overall, this was a seriously magical trip to the Enchanted Rose! I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a place to cool off on a hot day at MK or staying at the resort. Just a Monorail away!
